Director to lead project accounting across a multi-project real estate development portfolio, driving financial controls, reporting, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee job costing, capitalized expenses, and portfolio-wide financial reporting.
- Lead monthly/annual closes and coordinate external audits/tax compliance.
- Develop budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow models.
- Mentor Senior Controller and accounting team.
- Implement scalable systems and process automation.
- 10+ years progressive accounting with 5+ in leadership (real estate development required).
- Deep GAAP and project accounting expertise.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms.
