Position: Public Service Aide Trainee (Sheriff's Office)
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's license. As a condition of employment, candidates who possess an out-of-state Driver's license must obtain a State of Florida Driver's license within 30 days of appointment. MINIMUM AGE: 18. Must possess sufficient color vision to accurately distinguish among the colors red, green and yellow as necessary to perform essential job functions.

All applicants must pass the Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) prior to the beginning of the trainee program. The CJBAT test score is valid for four years from the date of the test.

All applicants must pass the Law Enforcement Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test. The test is administered only within the state of Florida.
