A single-family office supporting a dynamic principal with multiple operating ventures and investment interests is seeking a highly capable Head of Operations & Finance.
This is a leadership role responsible not only for overseeing the internal operations of the family office, but also driving financial oversight, infrastructure, and operational discipline across a diverse portfolio of ventures.
The ideal candidate is a strong operator with financial fluency, capable of bringing structure, accountability, and execution rigor to a growing platform.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the family office and affiliated ventures
- Implement scalable systems, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Drive execution across multiple concurrent projects and business initiatives
- Identify inefficiencies and implement operational improvements
- Partner directly with the principal on strategic priorities
- Oversee accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting across entities
- Supervise external accountants, tax advisors, and financial service providers
- Develop consolidated reporting across ventures and investments
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation processes
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and governance requirements
- Monitor performance metrics across operating businesses
- Provide financial and operational insight to improve profitability and scalability
- Support new venture launches and structuring
- Coordinate legal, banking, and corporate service relationships
- Serve as a disciplined, solutions-oriented operator who can translate vision into execution
- Build process infrastructure that supports growth
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality across all matters
- Act as a trusted right hand to the principal
- 7+ years of experience in operations, finance, private equity, family office, or multi-entity environments
- Strong financial acumen (budgeting, reporting, cash flow oversight)
- Experience managing multiple entities or ventures simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build systems and processes from scratch
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments
- High integrity and discretion
