Job Description & How to Apply Below

Key Responsibilities
1. On-Site Execution & Reporting

  • Execute AV and smart home installation projects on site, following the project plan previously reviewed with the direct supervisor.
  • Be the person responsible on site for making sure each project is delivered with success.
  • Track daily progress: what got done, what is pending, what is blocking the team.
  • Report periodically to the direct supervisor (frequency to be agreed) on progress, issues, and any changes needed on site, so leadership can manage the project.
  • Identify and communicate scope changes early, with enough detail for leadership to act and update the plan.
  • Keep accurate project records: daily logs, punch lists, site notes, and closeout documentation.
2. Crew & Field Leadership
  • Hold full responsibility for the technicians on site: the AV PM is accountable for making sure the crew completes their assigned tasks.
  • Set daily priorities, assign work, and remove blockers for the crew.
  • Lead the team in the field, and be willing to step into the work when the project requires it (extra hands, troubleshooting, covering a gap).
  • Make sure the crew has clear direction, the right scope of work, and the information they need to execute.
  • Audit quality and safety on site throughout the project.
  • Manage the equipment, materials, and tools required for each project.
  • Make sure the right resources are on site, on time, and in working condition so the crew can execute.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement to request, receive, and track project materials.
  • Flag shortages, missing items, or damaged equipment early to avoid delays.
4. GC & Client Communication On Site
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with General Contractors, property owners, and end clients during the project.
  • Represent CES+ in coordination calls, OAC meetings, and on-site walkthroughs.
  • Communicate clearly with GCs and clients on schedule, site access, and trade sequencing.
  • Translate site realities back to the direct supervisor, and translate leadership decisions into clear direction for the crew.
5. Subcontractor Coordination
  • Manage subcontractor relationships on site: scope agreements, deliverables, and performance.
  • Make sure subcontractors deliver their work on site as agreed.
  • Provide feedback on subcontractor performance to the direct supervisor for future engagements.
Core Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience managing or coordinating AV, low-voltage, or related installation projects in the field.
  • Working knowledge of AV and low-voltage systems — enough to lead the crew, troubleshoot common issues on site, and step in to support the team when needed.
  • Experience as a day-to-day point of contact with General Contractors and clients on active projects.
  • Strong organization and reporting skills — able to keep the direct supervisor informed with clear, structured updates from the field.
  • Willingness to be hands‑on when the project requires it. This is a leadership role, but the AV PM is expected to be part of the team, not separate from it.
  • Ability to manage logistics: equipment, materials, and tools required for each project.
  • Ability to manage and hold accountable a crew of field technicians.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) — must communicate effectively with GCs, clients, subcontractors, and the crew in both languages.
  • Comfortable with site work across the Miami area; reliable transportation required.
  • Proficiency with basic project management and productivity tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available.
  • Immediate availability to start.
Preferred Qualifications

(Plus, not required)

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
  • AVIXA CTS certification.
  • Experience working alongside GCs in commercial construction and/or high‑end residential environments.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation: submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Manufacturer awareness (Crestron, Q‑SYS, Extron, Biamp, Control4, Lutron, Savant).
  • Health, vision, and dental benefits.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off.
  • Growth opportunity within a company expanding into AV and smart home solutions.
