Job Description & How to Apply Below

Our client is a well‑established provider of cleaning services, operating across a portfolio of accounts throughout Florida. With a strong commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction, they are looking to bring on a driven and experienced District Manager to lead frontline operations across multiple sites in the Miami area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in facilities or cleaning management who is ready to take ownership of a defined territory and make a measurable impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and oversee daily cleaning operations across a portfolio of accounts within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop site supervisors and frontline cleaning staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure all contracted service standards and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned client accounts, addressing concerns promptly, conducting regular service reviews, and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships.
  • Build and maintain staff schedules, monitor labor hours, and manage operational costs in alignment with site budgets.
  • Ensure all operations comply with OSHA standards, company safety protocols, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate supply and equipment procurement for assigned sites, ensuring adequate resourcing at all times.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including quality scores, staffing levels, labor costs, and client satisfaction metrics to senior management.
  • Respond to and resolve service escalations and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support business growth initiatives, including participation in new account onboarding and transitions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in facilities services, commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or a closely related operations environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong client‑facing and relationship management skills, with the ability to professionally represent the company at all levels.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across a multi‑site territory.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, scheduling tools, and reporting platforms) and the ability to adapt to workforce management software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation — this is a field‑based role with regular travel across assigned sites. (Mileage reimbursement or a car allowance is provided.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience managing 10 or more sites or accounts simultaneously within a regional or area management capacity.
  • Familiarity with workforce management platforms (e.g., Kronos, Humanity, or similar scheduling/timekeeping systems).
  • Knowledge of janitorial industry best practices, cleaning equipment, and chemical safety protocols.
  • Conversational proficiency in Spanish is a plus given the diverse workforce and client base in South Florida; however, this is not a requirement.
  • Experience supporting the onboarding of new commercial accounts or participating in operational transitions.
  • Prior exposure to contract or scope‑of‑work management within a B2B service environment.
BASE SALARY
