Program Director
ObjectivesThe Recruiting and Training Manager serves as a key strategic partner responsible for driving hiring and training initiatives across the Nashville region. This role oversees and executes recruitment and onboarding efforts to successfully fill both part‑time and full‑time positions.
You will collaborate closely with Coaching Managers to support and guide the recruiting and training process for coaches and interns, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality talent experience. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, passionate about our mission, and skilled at sourcing talent both locally and strategically.
In addition, this role focuses on building strong community relationships by identifying and developing partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance brand awareness and expand our talent pipeline.
Recruitment- Lead interviews, screening, and onboarding for new hires
- Network with candidate resources (colleges, online networks, and community events)
- Work with Coaching Team to ensure seasonal coaching needs are met
- Responsible for ensuring coaches have a positive impact on the organization’s NPS scores
- Create a culture representative of Soccer Shots Core Values within the team in coordination with the Program Director and Coaching Manager
- Responsible for schedule completion each season
- Coaching based on business need, 5–10 sessions per week per season
- Responsible for assistance in planning, preparing, and executing the seasonal coaches meetings
- Work with Program Director and Coaching Manager in creating and developing processes that enhance the Coaching Department
- Implement the company’s high standard for coaching, and develop a team of high performing coaches
- Manage and develop the training process for all new coaches
- Conduct seasonal evaluations on all coaches
- Coordinate evaluation performance and retraining programs for coaches that do not meet the Soccer Shots standards
- Input all evaluations within 24 hours
- Ensure new coaches complete training process
- Evaluate and update training process and evaluation at least once per year (November/December) or earlier if needed
- Collaborate with the People Operations Department to ensure compliance with coaches
- Maintain recruitment, and training scorecard as well as key performance indicators to appropriately forecast future recruitment needs
- Ensure regular upkeep of the department’s tools for recruitment, training & development
The job description above is a full‑time, exempt position. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm with some nights and weekends during the season. This position will be in our central office in Nashville, TN and the surrounding areas.
