Overview
The Recruiting and Training Manager is a key strategic partner responsible for driving hiring and training initiatives across the Nashville region. This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, and training for both part-time and full-time coaching staff, collaborates with Coaching Managers, and builds community relationships to expand the talent pipeline.

- Lead interviews, screening, and onboarding for new hires
- Network with candidate resources (colleges, online networks, and community events)
- Work with Coaching Team to ensure seasonal coaching needs are met
- Ensure coaches positively impact the organization’s Net Promoter Score
- Create a culture representative of Soccer Shots Core Values within the team in coordination with the Program Director and Coaching Manager
- Complete season schedule each period
- Coach based on business need, 5-10 sessions per week per season
- Assist in planning, preparing, and executing seasonal coaches meetings
- Collaborate with Program Director and Coaching Manager in creating and developing processes that enhance the Coaching Department
- Implement the company’s high standard for coaching, and develop a team of high performing coaches
- Manage and develop the training process for all new coaches
- Conduct seasonal evaluations on all coaches
- Coordinate evaluation performance and retraining programs for coaches that do not meet Soccer Shots standards
- Input all evaluations within 24 hours
- Ensure new coaches complete training process
- Evaluate and update training process and evaluation at least once per year (November-December) or earlier if needed
- Collaborate with People Operations Department to ensure compliance with coaching contracts
- Maintain recruitment and training scorecards as well as key performance indicators to forecast future recruitment needs
- Ensure regular upkeep of the department’s tools for recruitment, training & development
Full-time, exempt. Typical hours Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with some nights and weekends during the season. Position based in central office in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas.

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition, sourcing, screening, talent pool, ATS, and onboarding
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office
- Warm, motivated, and approachable personality
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.
