Description
* assist or provide back up support to all associates in any of the following authorized roles:
Purchasing, Receiving, Customer Service, Picking, Dispatching, and Shipping Performing procurement
* provide customer service when needed by analyzing, investigating, responding and following through with all email, fax, phone requests and over the counter walk-ins
* assist the Warehouse Supervisor in dealing with Warehouse team conflicts and issues
* assist the Warehouse Supervisor in scheduling work hours; overseeing the daily workflow and assigning tasks as needed
* oversee SAP Inventory Control Specialist duties for warehouse/vans
* oversee running daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
* oversee the scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries for all retail requests on truck routes
* provide ongoing support and training for all associates
* various administrative duties within the department.

Required Qualifications
* high School diploma or its equivalent
* 3 years of facilities warehouse experience
* ability to obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
* must be at least 21 years of age
* must have a valid driver's license and authorization to drive a company vehicle before the start date in the position
* ability to lift 65 lbs
* knowledge of Facilities warehousing processes (Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.)
* Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point Presentations, Outlook, etc.)
* knowledge of Inventory systems (CMMS)
* knowledge of Customer Service procedures and techniques
* SAP operational knowledge
* Supply Chain knowledge
* excellent verbal and written Communication skills
* ability to multi-task and to prioritize work/responsibilities
* human relations skills
* interpersonal skills
* time management skills
* analytical skills
* must be available at all times (during nights, holidays and weekends, hurricane season), including some out of town overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
* certification in warehouse or inventory control
* 5 years of facilities warehouse experience
