We are seeking a Manager of Interior Maintenance to be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of fleet-wide hotel interior repair, maintenance, and contractor coordination. This role ensures hotel spaces across the fleet maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Fleet Interior Design, the Manager, Interior Maintenance translates strategic design intent and asset management priorities into executable maintenance programs, field-level contractor oversight, and proactive deficiency resolution across all vessels.

Responsibilities

Furniture Fixtures & Equipment and Asset Repair Management

  • Manage day-to-day repair and maintenance of FF&E assets including furniture, upholstery, decorative lighting, artwork, soft furnishings, and decorative finishes across the fleet.
  • Execute replacement and refurbishment activities in alignment with the Senior Manager's lifecycle strategies and schedules.
  • Ensure marine compliance of all materials, installations, and repair activities.
  • Support fleet standardization by maintaining consistency in materials, finishes, and repair methods as defined by the Senior Manager.

Interior Maintenance Operations

  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance and condition of wall and ceiling systems, deck coverings, flooring, built-in cabinetry, wet units, bathroom systems, and public area outfitting.
  • Conduct regular vessel assessments and deficiency reviews to identify, prioritize, and resolve hotel maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with Hotel Directors, Chief Engineers, and shipboard maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
  • Maintain quality standards and brand presentation consistent with the design intent established by the Senior Manager.

Drydock and Refurbishment Support

  • Support the Senior Manager in developing and executing technical scopes for cabin refurbishments, public area renovations, and FF&E upgrade programs.
  • Coordinate field execution with shipyards, contractors, and shipboard teams during drydock periods.
  • Attend shipyard periods as required to monitor execution quality and adherence to approved design standards.
  • Report progress, issues, and deviations to the Senior Manager with recommended corrective actions.

Planned Maintenance and Systems Management

  • Ensure hotel assets are correctly managed within maintenance management systems such as AMOS.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies for hotel systems and FF&E as directed by the Senior Manager.
  • Monitor completion rates, maintenance effectiveness, and asset condition across the fleet.
  • Escalate systemic maintenance concerns and capital needs to the Senior Manager for budget and planning review.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables schedules. Manage and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
  • Proactively identify risks to timeline, scope, or budget and escalate issues as needed for mitigation.

Contractor and Vendor Coordination

  • Manage contractor performance and day-to-day vendor relationships for hotel maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate contractor mobilization, scope clarification, and quality review on behalf of the department.
  • Ensure service quality and compliance with company standards and design intent throughout all engagements.
  • Support the Senior Manager in vendor evaluations and selection processes as required.

Budget and Cost Management

  • Administer approved OPEX and maintenance budgets in alignment with the Senior Manager's annual financial plan.
