The Assistant Store Director is responsible for all aspects of the Boutique business, including sales generation, store operations, team and client development. They serve as a FENDI Brand Ambassador and a business leader, accountable for overall store performance. Managing the store, employees, merchandise, and supporting all activities to achieve store targets will create a positive experience for internal and external clients.
Jobresponsibilities
- Business Development and Performance Management:
- Drive sales performance for the overall business.
- Analyze the business, propose, and implement action plans to improve results.
- Partner with the Store Director to develop a sales strategy, working cross‑functionally with corporate partners.
- Identify new opportunities to attract and retain clients.
- Maintain presence on the sales floor and empower sales staff to meet assigned sales through an authentic client experience and clear goal communication.
- Partner with the Retail Events Office for the organization of local events.
- Leverage the Retail Training Team to identify actions and learning strategies supporting agile business needs and ensuring the store has a 360° vision of the business to elevate the in‑store client experience.
- Client Management:
- Lead customer service quality to meet client expectations and set an example for the team.
- Develop Fendi customers, implement CRM tools, and maintain the customer database.
- Act as a brand ambassador to strengthen and establish relationships with VIP clientele and prospect customers.
- Cultivate a private appointment culture.
- Lead and plan in‑store activities to deliver client service results with full support of regional teams and corporate departments.
- Administrative & Operations Management:
- Control daily invoices, petty cash, and implement actions to optimize cost control and operational efficiency.
- Review and submit sales and operational reports to management, adhering to company metrics and policies.
- Ensure maintenance of cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and shrink requirements.
- Supervise operational performance of all store operations, including inventory flows, stock organization, and training through hands‑on coaching and partnerships with retail to ensure operational knowledge for all team members, including new hires and continuous mentorship.
- Analyze and supervise store stock productivity, driving efficient operations, scheduling, timely deliveries, and team organization to deliver an outstanding client experience both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house.
- Team Management:
- Build an encouraging and positive culture, empowering staff through goal setting, performance monitoring, monthly catch‑up meetings, and storewide meetings to coach and deliver timely feedback.
- Proactively assess performance and growth potential of individual staff members to create a strong team benchmark and promote career paths.
- Conduct new hire training.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience, luxury preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry and luxury clientele
- Ability to develop, empower, and train leadership team and staff, build strong internal and external relationships, and apply workforce skills to increase business results
- Effectively delegate tasks and follow up with the team
- Adjust priorities and handle time wisely in a fast‑paced environment
- Communicate and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provide instructions to all employees
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow‑through skills
- Ability to understand and apply all company policies and procedures
- Must have a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays

The base compensation for this role will range between $125,000 and $145,000. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long‑term disability, various paid time‑off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
