This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search in our South Florida offices for a Sr. Water Resources Project Manager with extensive experience in the Water Industry. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team supporting municipal water and wastewater projects including pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems, rehabilitation, stormwater, and water resources initiatives. The role also supports transportation projects and includes business development activities to nurture existing clients and develop new clients and sub‑consultants.

The position provides overall leadership to the South Florida Water business line in collaboration with local business line leaders.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant post‑education experience in water resources engineering.
  • Professional License.
  • Strong business development skills with connections to local agencies and municipalities in Florida.
  • Experience with change management.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adheres to WSP’s Code of Conduct.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience.
