Position Overview Return Pro  is seeking a Manager of Safety, Compliance & Risk to lead and strengthen our safety culture, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation efforts across facilities. This role oversees workplace safety programs, OSHA and state compliance, hazardous materials protocols, loss prevention strategy, and incident management, while also partnering closely with Operations on inventory control integrity. This leader will ensure our environments are safe, compliant, and audit-ready, while protecting teammates, assets, and operations.

The role requires a hands-on, field-oriented mindset with strong operational partnership and accountability.

Responsibilities Lead company-wide safety programs aligned with OSHA and applicable state regulations

Conduct facility safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

Partner with site leadership to drive a proactive safety culture and reduce incidents

Ensure safety policies, training, and documentation remain current and consistently applied

Oversee proper handling, storage, labeling, and transportation practices for hazardous materials

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to hazardous substances

Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to implement safe handling protocols and training

Lead incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis across facilities

Track incident trends and partner with leadership on prevention strategies

Ensure timely and accurate documentation of workplace incidents

Develop and maintain loss prevention programs to reduce shrink, damage, and theft

Partner with Operations and Inventory teams to identify vulnerabilities and control risks

Support investigations related to inventory discrepancies, security concerns, and operational losses

Work cross-functionally with Operations to support strong inventory control practices

Help establish standards that protect product integrity and reduce shrink

Support process improvements that increase accountability and visibility across sites

Manage and maintain required third-party certifications related to safety, compliance, and operational standards

Prepare sites for external audits and ensure ongoing readiness

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Risk Management, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)6–10+ years of experience in safety, compliance, loss prevention, or risk management within operations, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environments

Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and state-level compliance requirements

Experience managing incident investigations, safety programs, and audit processes

Experience with hazardous materials protocols and compliance preferred

Background in inventory control, shrink reduction, or asset protection is a strong plus
