Of Position
The Case Management Services Director is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the department comprised of Case Management Services. This position requires a high level of coordination of all staff assignments and knowledge of reporting requirements. The Director is knowledgeable of the broad range and complex issues of clients served by the department.
Essential DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a high level of quality clinical and case management services through supervision of all staff in the department
- Apply differential diagnosis to a broad range of client issues
- Present the agency programs to the Jewish community and the larger community; presentations should be enthusiastic, motivating and have a demonstrated knowledge of the agency's broad range of services
- Responsible for all records, site monitoring, budgets, accreditations, and audits
- Assure the achievement of productivity standards through regular utilization review and continuous quality assurance
- Maximize income potential of all relevant services through attention to fees, insurance, and all policies and procedures relating to fee collection where applicable
- Participate in professional seminars and in-service training; assist in the planning, development and presentation of in-service trainings for the department
- Demonstrate program development skills through participation in grant writing; actively assist grant writing team with upcoming grants
- Complete staff evaluations of supervises
- Must be available to participate in community activities and events which affect the division's programs, including evenings and Sundays
- Maintain relationships with all monitoring entities and funding sources for programs in the department; continue to build relationships with current funding sources and develop new relationships in the community for new grants in the department, including FEMA, Red Cross, University staff, Board members, and other community members and agencies
- Strategize for budget preparation of grants, department expenses and income information; collaborate with the Fiscal team to track spending, complete timely billing, and effectively communicate new processes to make the department more efficient and effective
- Participate in Management Team Meetings and other leadership development activities; research and participate in outside trainings to maintain knowledge of best practices
- Any other responsibility assigned by the CEO, COO and CPO; assist across all departments as needed to collaborate and serve clients
This position requires a high level of coordination of all staff assignments. The Director will supervise multiple program managers and case managers in different programs.
