Managing Director
The Managing Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of a designated specialty business unit or department, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and efficient day-to-day management. This position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration across teams.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise department staff and daily activities; implement business strategies and initiatives; monitor and report on performance metrics; manage budgets and resources; coordinate with other departments to achieve goals; ensure compliance with firm policies and regulations; identify and drive process improvements; support team development and training; resolve operational issues and escalate as needed; maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency with business management software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices. Primarily office-based with regular interaction with staff, management, and clients; may require occasional travel for meetings or business needs; fast-paced environment with shifting priorities; adherence to firm standards and ethical practices.
