• Perform incoming, in-process and final cleaning methods and processes as required.
• Dry parts whether by hot water tank, air dry, or oven dry.
• Master the use of all cleaning equipment and their maintenance according to the schedule, or as requested by direct lead, or supervisor.
• Properly maintain all working areas on a daily basis by sweeping, mopping and removal of waste container.
• Sort and prepare items to be processed having previously read all working instructions.
• Clean and maintain cleaning tanks and maintain their optimal working level and concentrations following the recommendations provided by engineering.
• Participate in and promote continuous improvement processes.
• Be open to learn new skills and cross-train other employees when required in support of production and company goals.
• Observe all applicable safety requirements by the use of assigned PPE and notify direct supervisor of any discrepancy or risk.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 75% of the average workday.
• Ability to read and understand manuals, work instructions and any other technical instructions written in English.
• Ability to use a computer and required software.

• Thorough knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Thorough knowledge of titrating chemicals.
• Working knowledge of material safety data sheets and the handling of hazardous materials/chemicals.
• Working knowledge of related company instructions, company processes, MSDS labels and original equipment manufacturer manuals for cleaning and related processes.
• Working knowledge of production management computer systems.
