As an Inspector
, you’ll have the responsibility of inspecting, identifying, and determining status of products being processed for repair or overhaul.

What you’ll do:

  • Determine and document product configuration and modification status to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

  • Verify parts are clean and in acceptable condition to perform required inspections.

  • Evaluate products for repairability and identify items that do not meet requirements.

  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate inspection documentation.

  • Generate documentation required for repair of unserviceable components.

  • Inspect and identify parts through the Reduced to Spares (RTS) process.

  • Support production by supervising trainees, cross-training team members, participating in process improvements, and maintaining safety standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in the aircraft engine components repair industry.

  • Must be able to provide documentation of at least 1 year or more of on-the-job training (OJT) specific to the duties performed in order to qualify for a Repairman Certificate in a short period of time.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for at least 25% of the shift

  • Ability to sit for at least 50% of shift

Desired Skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience in using precision measuring tools.

  • Knowledgeable in and ability to identify and interpret conditions on products that are the result of service operation.

  • Ability to use and interpret publications used in the production process (graphs, charts, schematics, blueprints).

  • Working knowledge of the functions and operation of the products being inspected.

  • Working knowledge of production management computer system and other related internal control systems.

  • Experience with RTS (Return to Service) on aircraft parts.

  • Ability to sign off on 8130’s by having a repairman certificate or A&P license.
