The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job‑related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. Job Responsibilities- Operate and set up computerized numerical control machines: lasers CNC/EDM, CNC machining centers, CNC grinders.
- Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when required.
- Conduct R&D of new programming.
- Perform manual machining operations.
- Perform other tasks in the facility as needed.
- H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years+ experience in machining, measuring equipment, CNC set‑up, and program editing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and/or work in‑process documents.
- Math and computer technology skills, including the ability to read and use measurement tools.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and co‑workers.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
- Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Regular standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Maintaining close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
