Position TitleDispensing Operator B
Position ObjectiveUnder minimal supervision, perform manufacturing tasks as assigned in the Manufacturing Department
Qualifications- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Proficiency in basic math is required.
- A minimum of one year of equivalent machine operation experience required.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment, familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment procedures preferred.
- Experience with tablet presses or encapsulation machines preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Operate and clean manufacturing equipment.
- Transport bulk raw material from staging area to compounding weight room.
- Verify all bulk raw materials for accuracy and quantities received.
- Weight individual raw materials as per the product formula and follow batching procedures.
- Perform changeover and set-up of designated manufacturing equipment.
- Practice Good Manufacturing procedure as trained in cGMP training.
- Required to wear appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety procedures and Federal and State regulations.
- Assist manufacturing supervisor in the collection and summarization of in‑line Q.C. data.
- Follow procedures described in SOP's (Q.C. and MFG.) and report deviations to the immediate supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Follow established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
- Working knowledge of Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations, preferred.
- Working knowledge of cGMP's, a plus.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tag out and MSDS.
- Ability to lift up 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand up for 8-10 hours daily.
