Cabinet Makers | Millwork Carpenters | Wood Shop Technicians
We are looking for skilled and reliable Cabinet Makers, Millwork Carpenters, and Wood Shop Technicians to join our dynamic and collaborative team!
About the RoleAs a Wood Shop Operator, you will play a key role in our production process by operating and maintaining high-quality woodworking machinery to cut, shape, and prepare lumber and wood products for framing and custom millwork orders. Key Responsibilities- Operate milling equipment including planers, jointers, molders, and saws to shape and finish lumber products.
- Review work orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine specifications and required materials.
- Measure, inspect, and verify materials before and after processing to ensure accuracy and high-quality standards.
- Set up machines according to job specifications, make adjustments, and perform test runs.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on equipment to keep machines running smoothly.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine or material issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while strictly following all safety procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with carpenters, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support production goals by meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Perform inventory checks and report material needs to management.
- Deliver excellent internal customer service and assist team members whenever needed.
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands‑on experience operating milling machinery (planers, jointers, molders, saws, etc.).
- Experience working in a lumberyard, wood manufacturing, production, or fabrication environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Team‑oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
- Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
