TIG Welder / Mechanical Fabrication Specialist
Location:
2200 NW 112 Ave, Miami FL 33172
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
Badia Spices is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabrication Specialist to perform stainless‑steel welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs to support production equipment and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel parts and equipment
- Fabricate and modify components (guards, frames, brackets, supports)
- Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- Create custom parts when replacements are unavailable
- Support equipment installations, changeovers, and emergency repairs
- Follow GMP, safety, lockout/tagout, and hot work procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- High school diploma (required); technical certification (preferred)
- 3–5 years TIG welding & stainless‑steel fabrication experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read measurements, sketches, and basic drawings
- Experience in manufacturing or food production (preferred)
- English required;
Spanish a plus
