Sorters 2nd Shift

A flower sorter is responsible for sorting, grading, and bundling harvested flowers by type, size, and quality. They ensure flowers meet quality standards, remove damaged blooms, and pack them for shipment.

• Sorting & Grading: Inspecting incoming flowers to sort by species, color, size, and quality.
• Quality Control: Identifying and removing damaged, wilted, or imperfect flowers to maintain company standards.
• Processing & Packaging: Trimming stems, removing lower foliage, bunching flowers, and packing them into boxes or buckets for shipment.
• Inventory Handling: Receiving, storing, and rotating inventory in coolers to maintain freshness.
• Maintaining Environment: Clean work areas.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and carry 10-50 lbs, frequently standing or walking for long periods.
• Environment Adaptability: Ability to work in cold, refrigerated environments (e.g., 37°F).
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying quality issues.
• Efficiency & Teamwork: Ability to work fast to meet shipping deadlines while collaborating with team members.
