Job Brief

Seeking a hard‑working Electrical and Electronic Equipment Assembler to manually assemble electrical cables by cutting, stripping, connecting and terminating wires according to specifications. Responsibilities include assembling components, reading instructions, labeling wires, inspecting final products, adhering to safety practices, using testing equipment, and keeping the working area clean. Frequently use tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, and heat guns while maintaining quality standards and reading technical diagrams for proper assembly of components within a cable harness or system.

Shipping, packing, palletizing, lifting, and moving boxes up to 25lbs are required. Mechanical skill, hand–eye coordination, endurance, and solid hand‑yman abilities are essential. If you have the stamina and skills required, we’d love to see your resume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install wiring, components and casings using tools such as wire strippers, cutters, hand drills, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; accurately understand wiring diagrams and assembly instructions to connect cables properly.
  • Cut and strip wires, precisely measuring and stripping insulation for connections.
  • Solder and crimp using soldering irons and crimping tools to securely connect wires to connectors.
  • Route and label wires within a cable harness according to specifications.
  • Assemble electrical wire, components, units, and subassemblies.
  • Inspect and test final assemblies to ensure functionality and adherence to quality standards, including inspecting chandeliers for defects.
  • Packing and shipping: prepare boxes, ship on time, palletize orders, lift boxes, and perform required physical tasks.
Qualifications & Required Skills
  • Hand dexterity: precise movements for handling small wires and connectors.
  • Attention to detail: identify and correct errors in wiring and assembly.
  • Basic math skills: accurate measurement and calculation of wire lengths.
  • Technical understanding: knowledge of electrical wiring color codes and connector types.
  • Ability to follow instructions and assembly procedures.

Work Environment

Typical manufacturing facility with standing or sitting at a workbench; may involve repetitive tasks and require safety gear such as gloves and eye protection.

Compensation

Starting wage of $660 per week gross for a 40‑hour work week ($16.50 per hour). Wages paid bi‑weekly via direct deposit through ADP.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Total hours per week: 40 hours
