The Operator is responsible for plant production operations/maintenance and repair of all plant fixed equipment.

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies.
• Examine and diagnose operational problems, and repair according to accepted methods.
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices.
• Perform other related duties such as maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed.
• Understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form.
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts.
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations.
• Adhere to all CEMEX, O.S.H.A., and M.S.H.A rules and regulations at all times.
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Welding and cutting experience highly preferred.
• Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime, and weekends.

• Read, write, and speak English.
• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Wear protective equipment while at the location.

• Perform all job functions: walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree.
• Exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Talk and hear regularly to communicate with employees/visitors and function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
• Walk or stand for long periods of time.
