Maintenance Technician

This role supports a catheter production line by assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting specialized equipment in a cleanroom environment. The Maintenance Technician applies strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with tools to build, calibrate, and service machinery, while contributing to reliable and efficient medical device manufacturing.

• Support the catheter production line by assembling, maintaining, and servicing equipment used in catheter fabrication.
• Assemble equipment and mechanical components using hand tools and follow technical documentation and schematics.
• Read and interpret schematics to assemble, calibrate, and install machinery and mechanical components accurately.
• Perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on production and support equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Assist with 3D printer setup, operation, and basic maintenance as it relates to catheter and component fabrication.
• Provide technical support for production teams to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and within specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical staff to improve equipment performance and support process improvements.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment changes in accordance with internal procedures and standards.
• Work safely in a cleanroom environment, following established protocols for cleanliness, contamination control, and equipment handling.

• Proven experience as a technician in a medical device or aerospace environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated ability to work hands-on with hand tools and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembling, calibrating, and installing machinery and mechanical components.
• Experience performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance technician practices, including equipment inspections, repairs, and documentation.
• Basic understanding of electrical controls and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to assemble equipment accurately and safely in a production environment.
• Comfort working with catheter-related equipment or similar precision manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in the English language for reading technical documentation and communicating with team members.

• Experience supporting catheter fabrication or catheter-related technical support.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printers in a manufacturing or technical setting.
• Experience in medical device or aerospace industries, including exposure to regulated environments.
• Experience with electrical/controls systems and PLC troubleshooting beyond basic familiarity.
• Prior work in a cleanroom environment, following contamination control procedures.
• Exposure to both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a maintenance technician role.
