Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Sr. Manager of Danaher Business System. This role leads continuous process improvement across Reagent and Hardware Manufacturing facilities. The position reports to the Senior Director of Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Leadership team. It is located onsite in Miami (Kendall).
Responsibilities- Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in SQDCI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation) results tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and change management process.
- Assist site and company leadership in developing a DBS roadmap to use DBS tools for sustainable improvement.
- Provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching.
- Assist in achieving business unit Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives.
- Ensure successful kaizen events by implementing and maintaining the kaizen process (planning, execution, sustainment) linked to PD and Daily Management.
- BS or BA in Business, Engineering, or related field with 14+ years of experience, or Master’s with 12+ years of Operations or Engineering experience.
- Mastery of DBS tools, especially for manufacturing continuous improvement (Lean Conversion, VRK, TPM, DMS).
- Ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business.
- Superior consulting and influencing skills, able to work across organizations.
- Strong communication, training, and adult learning theory; good writing and administrative skills; computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet).
- Preferred: familiarity with manufacturing process technologies and experience with materials and planning systems.
