Senior Production Manager - Aviation MRO

Location: Miami, Florida

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

We are supporting an established aviation MRO business in hiring a Senior Production Manager to lead its production operations.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for daily shop performance, production teams, operational KPIs and continuous improvement. This position requires strong commercial aircraft component MRO experience, particularly within landing gear overhaul.

• Lead daily production across multiple MRO workshops.
• Manage supervisors, team leaders and shop personnel.
• Improve turnaround time, productivity, labor utilization and on-time delivery.
• Introduce production KPIs, dashboards and accountability processes.
• Coordinate priorities with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Customer Support.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean improvements.
• Ensure production meets all safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support increased capacity and the continued growth of the business.

• 10+ years of leadership experience in commercial aviation MRO operations.
• Experience managing multiple departments within a regulated repair station.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and workforce management.
• Proven success implementing KPI-driven production systems.
• An effective leader capable of building accountability and operational discipline.
• Lean, Six Sigma, ERP or MRO software experience is advantageous.
