Player/Coach – CNC Process Systems
We are seeking a senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen the system behind programming — standardizing datums, fixturing, work holding, setup documentation, and verification practices to reduce scrap and rework.
This is a hands-on role working directly with machinists and programmers to create scalable CNC methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardize CNC setup methods, datum strategy, and tooling libraries
- Define CNC release package requirements (setup sheets, revision linkage, verification steps)
- Design and approve fixtures/work holding solutions
- Improve first-article outcomes through structured process validation
- Partner with programmers to eliminate repeat errors
- Establish inspection hooks and verification standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years CNC manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong fixture and work holding design background
- Comfortable reviewing G-code and CAM outputs
- Deep knowledge of machining capability and metrology
- Proven ability to create operator-ready setup documentation
- Strong shop-floor credibility
