Electrical Commissioning Manager - Data Centre

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to support a major data centre project in Miami, Florida. This role will be responsible for leading electrical commissioning activities from pre-functional testing through to Integrated Systems Testing (IST), ensuring all systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in line with client requirements.

• Lead electrical commissioning activities across mission critical systems.
• Manage commissioning engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and specialist suppliers.
• Review commissioning plans, scripts, procedures, and test documentation.
• Coordinate Level 1-5 commissioning activities.
• Oversee functional testing, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final system turnover.
• Work closely with QA/QC, construction, and client teams to ensure commissioning readiness.
• Manage commissioning schedules and track project progress.
• Identify technical issues and drive resolution through to completion.
• Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately and handed over to the client.

• Previous experience as an Electrical Commissioning Manager on data centre or mission critical projects.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical infrastructure, including:
• MV/LV Distribution
• UPS Systems
• Generators
• Switchgear
• ATS
• PDUs
• EPMS/BMS Integration
• Experience leading Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning activities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across construction, commissioning, and client teams.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning documentation and turnover processes.
