Position Overview :
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Engine Shop Coordinator with specific expertise in the CFM
56-3, CFM
56-5, and CFM
56-7
engine families. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all daily maintenance activities within the engine shop, ensuring efficient workflow, tracking project deadlines, and handling the timely delivery of engine parts and components for these primary engine lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Coordination: Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and shop floor workflow to meet strict project deadlines for CFM
    56-3,
    -5, and
    -7
    engines.
  • Production Liaison: Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and production teams to ensure all maintenance compliance aligns with industry standards, FAA regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Material Control: Monitor inventory levels and actively assist with the procurement of essential parts and materials for CFM
    56 engine variants.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and regulatory documentation of all engine shop activities.
  • Progress Reporting: Conduct regular production meetings, providing accurate updates on project statuses to management and addressing any workflow bottlenecks.

Position Requirements & Qualifications
:

  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience in jet engine maintenance and repair operations, specifically with CFM
    56-3,
    -5, and/or
    -7
    series engines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA Part 145), MRO safety standards, and engine parts tracking.
  • Software

    Skills:

    Proficient in using aviation maintenance management software systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: Relevant technical aviation certifications (e.g., an FAA A&P license) are a major plus.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods on the shop floor.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

  • Work Schedule: Desirable 4-day work week (10-hour day shifts) with a consistent 3-day weekend off
