Role Description The Sr. Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for overseeing daily production operations within the facility. This role manages production schedules, supervises teams, and ensures that products are processed and handled efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company quality standards. The Sr. Production Manager monitors performance metrics, resolves operational issues, and collaborates with cross-functional partners such as logistics, quality assurance, and inventory control.
Additional responsibilities include implementing process improvements, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting continuous training and development of production staff. The role requires active leadership on the production floor and consistent engagement with team members to maintain a high-performance, safety-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing production or warehouse operations in a high-volume distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and develop diverse teams while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Proficiency in planning and coordinating production schedules, workflows, and resource allocation to meet operational targets.
- Solid understanding of quality standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and use production metrics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey expectations and provide constructive feedback.
- Comfort with production or warehouse management systems and basic proficiency in standard office software tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in the food, grocery, or natural products distribution industry is a plus.
