Plant Operations Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Operations Lead to a vital role in supporting our clients' manufacturing operations. This onsite, permanent/direct-hire position based in Miami, FL focuses on leading production teams to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment.

• $21/hour

• Monday-Friday; 8-10 hour shifts.
• First or second shift.
• Saturdays if needed.

• Track hourly productivity, shift staffing, and quality metrics to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor cost, overtime, and yield
• Take ownership of operational targets and coach team members to focus on achieving KPIs
• Review production schedules and plan for appropriate packaging materials and staffing needs
• Direct and assign employees as needed, enforce discipline, track attendance, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Facilitate root-cause problem solving to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals within assigned work areas
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
• Coach and mentor team members, including facilitating cross-training and team-driven performance initiatives
• Maintain floor organization and serve as the point-of-contact in the absence of a Supervisor or Manager
• Troubleshoot quality and equipment issues and address operational challenges
• Perform all duties ethically and responsibly
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Post-secondary education is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry
