About this role: The Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for managing all internal and external corporate communications, ensuring brand consistency across materials and channels, and leading the coordination and execution of corporate and sales events. This role serves as a key link between marketing, operations, and external vendors to strengthen brand presence, support sales initiatives, and enhance employee and client engagement.

The role leans heavily toward email marketing:

  • Developing and executing email marketing campaigns to promote products, services, and communications
  • Build and manage segmented email lists to improve open rates and engagement
  • Create compelling email content, subject lines, and calls to action
  • Analyze campaign performance using KPIs such as open rate, click-through rate, and conversions

Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Create, review, and manage all company email communications (internal and external). Manage relationship with email vendor.
  • Develop a monthly email calendar segmented by audience (Head Office, Agents, Clients, etc.), with a focus on optimizing the channel up to full automation.
  • Develop a nomenclature and maintain the BMI Cloud Library: uploading updated documents, presentations, and brochures to the cloud, and removing outdated versions.
  • Develop, update, and maintain marketing and brand materials, including POP (Point of Purchase) assets.
  • Propose and implement new ideas for promotional materials and visual communication.
  • Design and maintain standardized templates for agent and sales materials.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate brand guidelines across all marketing materials.
  • Keep a master inventory sheet of marketing materials, POP items, and promotional assets.
  • Update presentations, contracts, brochures, invitations, manuals, QR codes, event designs, IVR scripts, and website content in line with brand standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors for printing, event management, and branded merchandise.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, launches, and communication initiatives.
  • Lead and oversee activities related to advertising, branding, and visual identity.

Events Coordination

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate and sales events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor support.
  • Develop event concepts aligned with corporate strategy and brand positioning.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, venue setup, catering, and technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event delivery and participant engagement.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations to measure impact and ROI.
  • Maintain a calendar of corporate events and key marketing activities.
  • Support product launches, workshops, and internal engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing communications, branding, or event coordination (experience in corporate or insurance/financial industry preferred).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Portuguese a PLUS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva.
  • Experience managing vendors and event logistics.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual detail and brand consistency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
