Position Summary

Paradox Miami is recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager to drive local and group sales initiative. As a core member of the marketing team, this position will manage all retail sales, group sales, events and tourism at the local level, oversee the implementation of social media, and build relationships with community partners. They will be passionate about positioning Paradox’s brand in the Miami market while continuously looking for creative approaches to drive awareness in both the local and tourism channels and increase ticket sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee overall social media strategy and other marketing / distribution platforms to increase both retail and group sales.
  • Drive all initiatives to increase group sales including schools, community centers corporations and tourists.
  • Be a key liaison with other Wynwood and Miami retailers and venues for partnerships related to sales, marketing, events and tourism.
  • Gather and analyze information to identify appropriate target audiences.
  • Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the market
  • Maintain and acquire data base via  or other platforms to continuously communicate with target audiences.
  • Maintains knowledge of existing and new in market competition.
  • Develops programs to maximize awareness and attendance in a high volume, for profit experiential environment.
  • Report to the Paradox Miami GM and work with operations team.
  • Promote company through creative guerrilla marketing favorable to current marketing environment.
  • Oversee Paradox’s membership and participation in regional civic bureaus, trade and tourism associations, and other organizational affiliations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail and group sales marketing responsibility in ticketed experiences in entertainment, sports or immersive attractions.
  • Financial acumen in budget vs. actual and ticket pricing/ATP strategy
  • Local contacts and relationships
  • Best practices in driving group sales in schools, corporations and tourism channels
  • Proven ability to set KPIs and meet ROI goals through marketing.
  • Business development skills in the creation of new concepts and related partners.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changes in consumer behavior.
  • Goal oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a willingness to learn.
  • Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership accompanies by outstanding project management and organizational skills.
  • Creative vision, initiative, and adaptability as this role continues to evolve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
PAY

$65,000 - $85,000/ year. PTO and medical insurance benefits.
