Overview
Galderma is seeking a Social Commerce Manager to drive revenue growth, profitability, and brand performance across social commerce and digital marketplace platforms, with a focus on Tik Tok Shop and iHerb for Galderma’s Consumer Business Unit. The role serves as the commercial owner and strategic lead for Tik Tok Shop and iHerb, and supports additional marketplace and Quick Commerce channels. Reports to the Director of National Sales.
Responsibilities- Own the overall commercial strategy and performance for Tik Tok Shop, including assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory availability, and shop health.
- Serve as the primary internal owner for Tik Tok Shop, aligning brand, marketing, digital, and operational stakeholders around objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate with an external operating partner to support day-to-day Tik Tok Shop execution while retaining ownership of results.
- Stay current on Tik Tok Shop capabilities, trends, and best practices to inform ongoing strategy.
- Act as commercial owner for iHerb, leading strategy, performance management, assortment planning, promotions, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with iHerb to drive GMV, conversion, visibility, and long-term brand equity.
- Lead commercial strategy for additional Quick Commerce and marketplace platforms (e.g., Instacart or similar) partner.
- Ensure consistent brand presentation, compliant content, and strong customer experience across all managed marketplaces.
- Own platform-level P&L for Tik Tok Shop, iHerb, and assigned marketplaces, including revenue forecasting, promotional investment, fees, deductions, and margin performance.
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to forecast demand and support inventory and production planning across marketplace channels.
- Assess ROI across promotions, affiliate programs, trade levers, and media investments to optimize growth and profitability.
- Define affiliate and creator commerce strategy for Tik Tok Shop aligned with brand priorities and activation moments; support creator activation and performance optimization.
- Ensure all Tik Tok Shop and marketplace content is compliant and aligned with core marketing claims and brand strategies.
- Lead strategy for Tik Tok Shop campaigns including product launches, promotions, flash sales, and live shopping events.
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and Media to guide content strategies across Tik Tok Shop and iHerb, including paid amplification.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (GMV, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, affiliate contribution, promotional lift) across Tik Tok Shop and iHerb; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Act as a cross-functional connector across Sales, Brand, Marketing, Media, Digital, Finance, and Supply Chain; assist with other eCommerce and Media projects as needed, particularly during peak activation periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in eCommerce, social commerce, or digital marketplaces.
- Hands-on experience with Tik Tok Shop and strong familiarity with marketplace operations.
- Direct experience managing or partnering with iHerb strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of social commerce, marketplace dynamics, and performance marketing.
- Demonstrated experience managing platform or customer-level P&L.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
The base salary range is $115,000-$155,000, determined by factors including responsibilities, skills, experience, certifications, and location. Eligible for annual short-term incentive program based on corporate performance with a multiplier for individual performance.
