Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTI) is the technology team at the core of each of Blackstone’s businesses and new growth initiatives. We build the next generation of systems that manage risk, create efficiency, and improve transparency within the firm and across our investors and portfolio companies. - Strategic Communications Planning: Assist the broader BXTI Communications team in Miami and New York to support planning efforts and creation of newsletters, technology updates, incident communications and other high-visibility engagements. Coordinate communications across email, the intranet site, and other internal channels.
- Content Development: Draft and edit communications, presentations, talking points, and supporting materials; translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
- Technology Adoption & Training Communications: Partner with the firmwide Technology Training team to promote new products, tools and technology initiatives. Develop user guides, training materials, videos, and other communication assets.
- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate Miami office town halls, leadership speaking engagements, and training sessions. Prepare event materials, agendas, talking points, and run-of-show documents.
- Operations & Reporting: Champion our communication tools, track engagement metrics, and contribute to reporting on effectiveness; maintain project trackers and communication calendars.
Candidates should exhibit strong organizational and communication skills and an interest in technology. They should be self-motivated, confident, team-oriented, and able to work in dynamic environments. Strong writing, analytical, research, evaluation, and presentation skills are key, in addition to:
- 2+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably in the financial services or technology industry
- Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of internal communication strategies
- Experience using PowerPoint and other design tools
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude with demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Well organized and detail oriented, with the capability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels
Expected annual base salary range: $80,000 - $95,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by factors including experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, salary bands may follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA), paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
