About the Role
The Assistant Manager, Video & Digital will support the execution of video and digital marketing initiatives that drive brand engagement and revenue growth across Subway's digital channels. This role is responsible for day-to-day project management, asset coordination, stakeholder communication, and creative support across video production, paid digital campaigns, and content development. Working closely with the Director and cross-functional teams, this position ensures seamless delivery of high-impact creative work within budget and timeline requirements.
Responsibilities- Video & Digital Project Management
- Coordinate day-to-day execution of video production timelines, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and progress tracking
- Manage asset delivery workflows and approvals across TV, OLV, streaming, and digital platforms
- Support paid digital campaign setup, optimization, and monitoring across display search, and video channels
- Track project budgets, spending forecasts, and reconcile; flag variances to Director and Finance
- Manage talent relationship management, including contract tracking, clearance documentation, usage approvals, and rights management across campaigns when needed
- Create campaign performance reports and dashboards, and identify trends and insights to inform creative optimization
- Manage execution and on-site logistics for all video shoots, including scheduling, crew and location coordination, and day‑of troubleshooting
- Vendor & Agency Liaison
- Serve as primary contact for external production agencies, video editors, photographers, and specialty vendors
- Communicate creative briefs, brand guidelines, feedback, and revisions to agency partners
- Organize and attend production kickoffs, reviews, and approval sessions
- Submit invoices and process contracts/procurement requests, supporting the approval process with partners and Legal
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Subway's Agency of Record (AOR) to ensure alignment on creative execution and campaign delivery
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in Film & Media Studies, Communications or Business School.
- 1‑3 years of experience in digital marketing, video production, content management, and/or brand marketing.
- Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple timelines and deliverables.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal, with clarity in cross‑functional environments.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and data tracking skills.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and media buying tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, collaborative environment.
- Quick learner with intellectual curiosity about creative, digital trends, and marketing.
