Hybrid Marketing & Communications Intern (Events

Location: Weston, Florida (In-Person) with Some Remote Days

Position Type: 20+ hours per week, 6-month minimum commitment

Schedule: Normal business hours, with some nights and weekends required for events. Immediate start date available.

B’nai Aviv is seeking an energetic, creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team in Weston, FL. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to gain hands‑on experience across marketing strategy, strategic communications, and event management.

In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and various stakeholders to elevate our organization’s brand, manage and maintain digital channels, engage our community, and support our event programming.

• Content Creation: Produce visually engaging collateral, including web banners, flyers, posters, graphics, and digital assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and publish captivating content across multiple social media platforms to drive engagement and grow our audience.

• Multi-Platform Copywriting: Write, edit, and proofread clear, persuasive content for various mediums, including website pages, digital announcements, and print materials.
• Email Campaigns: Draft, design, and manage regular email marketing campaigns and newsletters to keep our community informed and engaged.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and leadership.

• Event Logistics: Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of organizational events, programs, and community gatherings.
• On-Site Coordination: Help manage attendees, internal leadership, and event flows to ensure smooth operations during program executions.
• Event Promotion: Coordinate promotional timelines to ensure all programs and events are effectively marketed across print and digital channels.

Education: Must be a current undergraduate student, recent graduate, or Bachelors degree holder with or pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Event Management, Business, or a related field.

Skills & Technical

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation.
• Experience in email marketing and social media platforms such as Mailchimp and Hubspot.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with great attention to detail.

Core Competencies:

• Highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Polished, professional demeanor when interacting with stakeholders and event guests.

• Must be able to work in-person at our Weston, FL location during standard operating hours.
• Must have a flexible schedule to work select evenings and weekends to support live events.
