Rumble is video platform, cloud services, advertising solutions, and a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet.
Rumble is building something entirely new in media and technology, and we’re looking for a Director of Public Relations to define how our story is told from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead PR for a multi‑billion dollar company that has never had a formal PR function, shaping narratives for our consumer products, our new cloud and AI‑infrastructure business, and the company as a whole.
As Director of Public Relations, you will operate at the center of a complex communications ecosystem, bringing together B2C product storytelling, B2B positioning, and investor‑facing narratives. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal, and executive leadership to ensure alignment across audiences, while building a cohesive voice that reflects how Rumble’s two core business units work together.
This role begins as a hands‑on individual contributor, owning strategy and execution from day one, with a clear path to building and leading a team. You’ll manage external agency partners, establish deep media relationships, and play a key role in launching and codifying the narrative for our AI business. If you’re motivated by the chance to build, influence, and leave a lasting mark on a high‑growth company’s public presence, this role offers that opportunity.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead Rumble’s public relations strategy across corporate, B2B, and B2C narratives, aligning with brand, reputation, and business objectives.
- Define and tell the story of Rumble’s evolving ecosystem, including the launch of Quake AI and how it integrates with Rumble’s broader platform and products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers across both B2B and consumer media landscapes.
- Own media outreach and external communications, including press releases, pitches, talking points, FAQs, and executive messaging.
- Partner closely with Investor Relations and external IR agencies to ensure alignment between public narratives and shareholder communications.
- Advise senior leadership on messaging, media strategy, and reputation risk related to major company initiatives and announcements.
- Lead crisis communications planning and execution, ensuring rapid, thoughtful responses to emerging issues.
- Oversee and manage external PR agencies and vendors, ensuring high‑quality execution and strong return on investment.
- Drive executive visibility and thought leadership, including media opportunities, speaking engagements, and contributed content.
- Track and analyze PR performance, including media coverage, sentiment, and message pull‑through, using insights to refine strategy.
- Build and scale the PR function over time, including hiring and developing internal team members.
- 8–10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields, ideally within high‑growth, later‑stage companies.
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated PR strategies that elevate brand awareness and manage corporate reputation.
- Strong media relationships across both B2B and consumer press, with a track record of securing meaningful coverage.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience crafting executive and media‑facing communications.
- Experience managing external agencies and cross‑functional stakeholders in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments.
- Ability to operate as a hands‑on leader, balancing strategy and execution in an evolving environment.
- Strong judgment and composure in handling sensitive issues, including crisis communications.
- Familiarity with the modern media ecosystem, including the impact of AI and evolving digital distribution channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a publicly traded or high‑visibility company with exposure to investor relations and shareholder communications.
- Background in technology, media, or other…
