Summary
Mowi is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support the Trade Marketing Manager across multiple projects and initiatives in the U.S. market. This entry-level coordination role will be instrumental in supporting trade events, retail activations, and experiential marketing programs that elevate Mowi’s corporate presence and brand portfolio.
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in executing activities of marketing support to sales, trade events, corporate public relations, and food service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, is detail-oriented, eager to learn and enjoys collaborating across teams to bring marketing initiatives to life.
Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Support
- Assist in the execution of trade marketing programs across retail accounts and distributor channels.
- Coordinate promotional calendars, retailer-specific campaigns, and seasonal activations.
- Support development of sell-in materials, retailer presentations, and promotional recaps.
- Track trade spends, promotional budgets, and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain trade marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met across teams.
- Help coordinate retailer events, trade shows, sampling programs, and merchandising initiatives.
- Communicate promotional details and updates to sales teams, brokers, and retail partners.
- Monitor retail compliance for displays, pricing, promotions, and merchandising execution.
Retail Marketing Coordination
- Coordinate production and delivery of point-of-sale (POS) materials, signage, displays, and in-store assets.
- Work with creative, print vendors, and merchandising partners to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time.
- Assist with retail launch plans for new products and line extensions.
- Support in-store marketing campaigns and shopper marketing initiatives.
- Collect and organize retail photos, field reports, and store execution feedback.
- Help manage retail marketing assets and digital file libraries.
Administrative & Project Management
- Manage timelines, project trackers, and marketing workflows.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics for marketing materials and samples.
Common Tools & Platforms
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Project management tools like Asana, , or Trello.
CRM and trade promotion management systems (A plus).
Typical KPIs
- Trade spend tracking accuracy.
- Sales lift from promotions and instore demos.
- Retailer participation rates.
- Events PR activity and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, retail marketing, shopper marketing, sales support, or CPG industry experience preferred. Preferable within CPG food, food service or hospitality.
- Exposure supporting retail accounts, distributors, or consumer packaged goods brands is a plus.
- Experience supporting events. Preferable culinary, trade or food service events.
