The OpportunityThis is a build role, not a maintenance role. UEL's US presence is early-stage, and the Marketing Manager will operate with the autonomy and pace of a startup inside a 125-year-old institution. You will design regional marketing from the ground up, wear multiple hats, and carry a heavy workload with real ownership of the results.
Much of the work is self-directed. You will often be the marketing function on the ground, collaborating with UK-based teams across time zones rather than sitting alongside a large local department. Proven experience working remotely and independently, managing your own priorities, and delivering without day-to-day supervision is essential.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating regional marketing plans that support student recruitment, brand visibility, local engagement, and hub activities. The role oversees regional marketing staff as the team grows, coordinates with UK teams, and ensures all campaigns and content reflect UEL's brand and growth ambitions.
