About the RoleThe Marketing Compliance Manager ensures that all of Supersure’s marketing and communications activities — across digital, print, social media, and direct channels — comply with applicable insurance regulations, advertising standards, and brand guidelines.
What You’ll Do Marketing Content Review & Approval- Review and approve all marketing materials, advertisements, social media content
- Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance advertising regulations
- Maintain library of approved materials and filing documentation
- Deliver clear feedback to creative and marketing teams
- Develop and maintain marketing compliance policies and review workflows
- Partner with Marketing from campaign conception through execution
- Create templates, checklists, and guidance for marketing scenarios
- Ensure efficient review without slowing campaign execution
- Monitor changes to insurance advertising rules across jurisdictions
- Update internal standards to reflect regulatory changes
- Maintain calendar of regulatory deadlines and filing requirements
- Manage state filing requirements for marketing materials
- Track filing submissions, approvals, and expiration dates
- Ensure timely resubmission of updated materials
- Evaluate email campaigns, SEO/SEM, paid media, and social platforms
- Ensure alignment with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, state privacy laws
- Review data collection and use practices in marketing activities
- Conduct training for Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams
- Provide guidance on prohibited practices and approval processes
- Serve as trusted resource for compliance questions
- Investigate compliance concerns related to marketing activities
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer in handling consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries related to marketing activities
- Document findings and corrective actions
- 4+ years in insurance marketing compliance or advertising compliance
- Strong knowledge of FTC and state regulations and NAIC insurance advertising guidelines
- Experience reviewing high volumes of marketing materials across channels
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong writing and editing skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Law, or related field
- Experience with in brokerage, carrier, or insurtech marketing
- Familiarity with digital marketing compliance (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, state privacy laws)
- Experience with marketing operations or compliance workflow tools
