Social Media Manager

Job Overview: The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining all social media channels to increase growth and engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and execute the organization's social media content calendar.

Create, curate, and manage all published content.

Photo/video shooting and editing as needed.

Create graphics as needed.

Create content for social pages.

Collaborate with external agencies to curate relevant content and expand the organization's social media audience.

Oversee the design of Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog.

Coordinate with external agencies to design, create, and manage promotions and social ad campaigns.

Promote the ministry through social media channels.

Develop social media strategies to improve metrics.

Set KPIs for campaigns and measure performance.

Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize content.

Assist the director in managing the social media team workflow.

Oversee volunteer group management.

Travel locally, nationally, and internationally as required.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Professional Qualifications

Knowledge of social media KPIs.
Advanced skills in social media technologies.
Proven ability to optimize campaign content.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills.
Ability to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proven knowledge of social media mapping.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience Requirements

Associate's Degree (2-year degree) or 2 years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination.
Google Analytics Certification (preferred).
