Content Lead

• Develop and execute content strategies to drive growth, visibility, and engagement within the brand portfolio
• Shape brand identity through high-quality, user-friendly content that generates earned backlinks and brand mentions
• Lead content editors and writers and ensure timely execution of website content roadmaps
• Define and oversee content strategy and editorial calendars aligned with brand goals and squad OKRs
• Manage quarterly and long-term content roadmaps, balancing new pages and content updates
• Manage the team's budget and optimize spending to achieve goals
• Incorporate AI into workflows to handle time-consuming tasks
• Collaborate with Life Cycle, Video, and Social Media teams to repurpose and distribute content across channels
• Lead, mentor, and develop content editors and lead writers
• Ensure evergreen pages are accurate, compliant, search-optimized, and aligned with brand tone and goals
• Create or approve content briefs, templates, and writing guides
• Collaborate with SEO, Product, Marketing, Commercial, and the squad GM to improve brand profitability and cross-functional processes
• Define KPIs, report team progress, and use data to inform decisions and strategy pivots
• Guide writers in creating content that attracts backlinks and elevates visibility in the iGaming space
• Oversee content calendars, resource allocation, and publishing timelines for multiple brands
• Ensure published content meets brand, legal, regulatory, and company standards
• Provide editorial feedback
• Manage team performance, conduct performance reviews, and hold regular 1-1 meetings
• Act as a visible Catena ambassador and communicate information clearly and timely
• Own recruitment and selection with HR and TA teams
• Enable team and individual growth through induction, learning, and development
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Content

• 5+ years of experience in digital content, SEO, or editorial roles with increasing leadership responsibility
• 2+ years managing content teams
• Preferably experience in SEO affiliate marketing or iGaming
• Deep understanding of SEO best practices, conversion funnels, and user behavior analytics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to drive traffic, acquire backlinks, and improve keyword rankings through on-page content tactics
• Strong understanding of sports betting or casino and visitors' needs
• Ability to conceive fresh new ideas for content, features, and tools that establish brand identity
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to organize and plan near- and long-term initiatives

Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing content strategies that drive growth and engagement, with a strong focus on SEO best practices and team leadership. Proven ability to manage content roadmaps, optimize budgets, and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
