About the Role

The Communications Coordinator is a highly organized, proactive team player who will help power the day-to-day operations of our Communications department. This role is the operational backbone of the team, supporting communications initiatives across corporate, executive, athlete and event communications while ensuring the department runs efficiently.

Candidates should be willing and able to travel and work evenings, weekends and holidays as required to support live events.

This position reports to the Chief Communications Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Manage communications department budgets, invoices, purchase orders and expense reports.
  • Coordinate travel, scheduling, and calendars for the Communications team.
  • Build and maintain communications timelines for major announcements, campaigns, and events.
  • Monitor daily media coverage and flag meaningful stories.
  • Compile press clips, media reports and coverage recaps.
  • Build and maintain media lists and communications databases.
  • Maintain communications trackers and project plans.
  • Manage department materials including executive biographies, fact sheets, boiler plates, one-sheets, quote libraries and messaging documents.
  • Organize and maintain communications archives, SharePoint and shared drives.
  • Support logistics for media events, press conferences, and executive appearances.
  • Assist with communications reporting, analytics and measurement.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across all Communications initiatives and fighter relations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years of communications, public relations, or administrative experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment or media preferred.
