The central Media and Executive Communications team, in conjunction with the Social Media team, is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their team of professionals.

• Oversee and execute the day-to-day social media responsibilities for the university president, including creating and posting content, monitoring, and responding to comments and interactions, and creating and implementing social media campaigns.
• Develop current and potential social media properties, spearheads new initiatives, and participates in presidential social media efforts.
• Work with the Director of Communications, with collaboration from the Social Media Assistant Director, in creating1 campaigns, managing the content calendar, and scheduling content according to university priorities for the university! President.
• Provide reports on content performance on a regular basis and shares findings with the Director of Communications

Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.

Temporary

As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).

Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits. As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part.
