HCM™ is recruiting on behalf of a South Florida‑based nonprofit that has delivered evidence‑based programs that strengthen communities, serving youth, families, and underserved populations. We are seeking a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to join the executive leadership team and oversee a diverse portfolio of federally and state‑funded initiatives, drive measurable impact, maintain compliance excellence, and support long‑term sustainability. The CPO will drive program strategy, supervise managers, and represent the organization with funders, partners, and stakeholders.

You are a seasoned nonprofit executive with extensive experience overseeing multiple evidence‑based programs bring deep expertise in federal and state grants, compliance, and audit readiness. You are an inspirational leader, equally skilled in guiding teams, influencing policy, and advising peers at the executive table. You thrive in complex, multi‑program environments, using data and strategy to drive growth, accountability, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive leadership and vision across all program areas, directing managers and driving excellence in delivery and outcomes
- Shape program strategy, design, and continuous improvement, grounded in evidence‑based practices
- Oversee multi‑million‑dollar grant portfolios, with a focus on compliance, reporting, and performance metrics
- Partner with Finance and Operations to manage budgets and support long‑term fiscal sustainability
- Serve as the primary liaison with funders, policymakers, and community stakeholders
- Represent the organization externally, strengthening visibility and partnerships
- 10+ years of senior program leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive role
- Extensive experience managing federally and state‑funded programs, including compliance with 2 CFR Part 200
- Proven success scaling multi‑program portfolios and leading program managers
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred - Strong communication, partnership‑building, and strategic planning skills
- Salary $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

Based in North Miami, with regular travel across Miami‑Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
