Née en 2006, e-graine is an associative movement of popular education composed of volunteers and professionals, grouped within 7 local associations, a national union, and specialized organizations (enterprises of the social and solidarity economy). We rely on the educational framework of the Global Citizenship Education, defined by UNESCO. We aim to participate in the transformation of territories by relying on the development of cooperation between public policies, actors of the social and solidarity economy, and popular education for:
- a more just ecological transition
- more inclusive societies
- a more participatory democracy
- a more virtuous economy
We aspire to be the weavers of links between knowledge, actors of society, and thus the facilitators of civic engagement towards more responsible and solidary territories!
The e-graine associations come together around a common associative project, updated in 2021. During this participatory process, they have also defined collective ambitions for 2026. Discover the associative project here, and here the video “e-graine supports civic engagement”.
