Are you interested in launching a career in politics, organizing, or public service while helping elect the next generation of leadership to Congress?

The Kendrick Meek for Congress campaign is seeking motivated, energetic, and community-minded Campaign Fellows to help build a grassroots movement across Florida’s 24th Congressional District. This fellowship is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands‑on experience in political campaigns, community organizing, voter engagement, communications, fundraising, and campaign operations.

No prior campaign experience is required. We are looking for people who are passionate about serving their community, strengthening democracy, and helping elect a new voice for South Florida.

Campaign Fellows will work closely with campaign staff and volunteers to support day‑to‑day campaign activities. Fellows will have opportunities to develop skills in field organizing, voter contact, communications, research, digital engagement, fundraising, and campaign management.

Responsibilities
  • Campaign Fellows may assist in one or more of the following areas:
  • Support voter outreach efforts, including canvassing, phone banking, text banking, and community engagement.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers.
  • Assist with campaign events, town halls, community meetings, fundraisers, and voter engagement activities.
  • Conduct research and assist with communications projects, including social media content and graphic design using Canva.
  • Help maintain campaign data and voter contact records using campaign databases and organizing tools.
  • Assist with fundraising activities and donor outreach.
  • Represent the campaign professionally at community events and public functions.
  • Assist in writing press statements and outreach.
  • Help write text and email communications.
  • Complete additional campaign projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in politics, public service, community organizing, or civic engagement.
  • Passion for electing Kendrick Meek to represent Florida’s 24th Congressional District in Congress.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with voters and engaging in direct voter contact activities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, or social media platforms is helpful but not required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
