Pediatric Associates is recruiting a Pediatrician to join our practice in Miami Lakes, Florida. This is an opportunity to join a very well run practice with a highly competent and motivated team of clinicians, clinical and administrative staff. Our pediatricians share the privilege of rounding on our newborn patients in the area hospitals. Here you will be supported and have the resources you need as you build your practice and care for your deserving panel of patients.

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Miami Lakes office
• This position is a mix of outpatient and after-hours care
  • 1-2 days per week: 5:30pm-10:30pm
  • 2:4 Saturday: 8am-8pm
• EMR: ECW with AI Charting

Education:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified.
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, unrestricted license in the state of Florida
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Experience:

• Must have 2 years of general pediatric experience and be comfortable working independently
