Position: Registered Nurse, Step Down-PCU-Progressive Care-IMCU, Full Time, 7A-7P

Overview

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates proficiency and mastery of core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service. The DPC RN delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety and service.

Qualifications
  • FL RN License Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Degree Preferred
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing Required. RNs hired with an Associate degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications Required
  • 7 months of Step Down, PCU Progressive Care, IMCU Intermediate Care Unit RN Experience Required
